SGU Hackathon 2.0 is a 24-hour innovation challenge designed to bring together aspiring innovators, developers, and technology enthusiasts to collaboratively address real-world problems through the application of emerging and transformative technologies.

Event Timeline

20th February - 12th March

Registration Phase

Teams register online and submit their participation details.

After Registration Closes

Shortlisting Round

A total of 300 teams will be shortlisted from all registered teams.

13th - 16th March

Online Evaluation Rounds

The evaluation follows an Open Innovation format where teams can work on ideas of their choice.

17th March

Online Results Declaration

Based on the evaluation, 60 teams will be shortlisted for the final offline round.

20th - 21st March (24 Hours)

Final Offline Hackathon @ SDGI Campus

The grand 24-hour hackathon will be conducted offline, with problem statements provided on-site to shortlisted teams.

Rules of Conduct

Registration & ID

All participants must complete official registration and carry a valid college ID and government-issued ID during the hackathon.

Team Formation

Each team must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.

24-Hour Time Limit

Teams must strictly adhere to the 24-hour development limit. Late submissions will not be considered.

Original Development

All solutions must be developed during the hackathon. Pre-built or previously developed projects are not permitted.

Zero Plagiarism

Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. All code, designs, and content must be original or properly credited.

Professional Conduct

Participants must maintain professional behavior, integrity, and mutual respect. Misconduct or harassment will lead to immediate disqualification.

Campus Compliance

Participants must follow all campus rules, safety guidelines, and instructions issued by organizers.

Judging Decision

The decision of the judging panel and organizing committee will be final and binding.

Organizer Authority

Organizers reserve the right to modify rules or disqualify teams in case of violations or unforeseen circumstances.
